They say that diamonds are a girl's best friend. I call bullshit. My best friends have always been demons. Well, demons and ghosts. And I'm not talking about the voices in my head.
Turns out that the voices in my head are all real. Or rather, were real. Some are voices from the dead, while others are actual demons. Turns out that the damned treat people better than humans do. Trust me. I know. I've been talking to them since I was a kid. Nearly joined them too, but they didn't want me yet.
I don't have any family. Never knew them. I can't even use my gifts to try and find them. I spent plenty of time trying when I was younger.
Watch out for my large fuzzy friend. Kane doesn't like a lot of people.

5 Feet 7 inches of gothic nerd. Keeps her hair long and usually some shade of blue. Will let it fade out sometimes, but will usually dye it before it goes back to its natural platinium blonde color. Usually dresses in goth/punk attire and has a few differet tattoos that cover decades old self harm scars.

Tiamat Turner doesn't know who her parents were or where she actually comes from. All she knows is that she's been alone for most of her life. She never did fit in. From a young age she saw things that others couldn't. Small creatures that would cause problems or even large monsters that would cause people to get hurt. For many years just about all of the adults in her life, from the social workers in the orphanges to foster parents, thought she just had an overactive imagination and was making things up.
As a teenager, her ability to see and eventually speak to these creatures got her bullied and teased quite a bit. Enough for her to try and take her life several times. She went through many different theapists and psychiatrists, trying to come up with some diagnosis as to why she kept seeing these things that no one else could. No matter what pills she was perscribed, they were always there, whispering in her ears.
One day she nearly succeeded in taking her own life. This was when she met a demon simply known as Axel. Taking pity on a lonely girl, he explained what her abilties really did and how she could control them better. He explained that while suicide would damn her soul, he didn't want to take it right now. She still had the potential to live a decent life. He would teach her how to control her power as well as how to summon lesser demons and spirits. He was also the one who gifted her Kane, her hellhound guardian.
